Is ContextWeb ADSDAQ CPM Really Pay to Publishers? Yes, I Got My First Check

Just happy to see a new check today from another money making program than Google adsense. Its from Contextweb ADSDAQ CPM network. You could remember that I mentioned in my October month income earnings with this CPM network. Contextweb pay well for its publishers, there could be some delay cases you might find though Google search results, but most of them got payment later.

Contextweb is a nice CPM network to make money from new blogs with decent traffic. Check this post how ADSDAQ CPM works.

adsdaq contextweb check

Because of I’m a Sri Lankan and living in Oman, both countries do not support to receive money via PayPal, so I have to depend on check.

These earnings are from 40 days without experience with ADSDAQ. Hope, I’m doing good with this CPM network now.

Why I’m publishing this? Two reasons.

1) Happy to share with my readers. It would be a encouragement, because when I see others‘ earnings like this, I get really crazy to make money like them.

2) You must try other networks also to monetize your blog. Do not depend on one program.CPM is good in that and ContextWeb is best in that without any traffic requirements.

If you have any difficulties to work with this program after got approval, feel free to contact me or leave a comment. I will help you.

Have a nice blogging 🙂

    • Geet,
Yes, it goes well with Adsense TOS. I was so concerned about it but I didn’t find any sad stories with this combination on internet.
Contextweb officially said, their CPM is not against adsense TOS and they said the reasons.
In adsense side, Contextweb is not having any issues.

But I suggest to ” not to add both ads next to next”.
Both ads will look like same when display picture ads except ‘Ads by Google’ logo ( thats also hidden).

It should not make confusion for your readers and adsense TOS.

Otherwise both goes well and so many bloggers use in single blog.

      Hope this answer your question.

    • FYP,
If its an urgent request, please contact me via email.
Anyhow, I will be preparing a post on creating ad slot with backup tag in Contextweb CPM. Give some time.

  1. Hi Dinesh,

I’ve started using Contextweb recently, thanks to your posts. I’m based out of India and haven’t received my cheque yet. Do they use a courier service like DHL or does it come through regular US mail?

It’s been almost a month since my cheque has been dispatched but I haven’t received it yet. How long did it take for you to receive the cheque once it’s been sent by contextweb?

Your posts have been really helpful to me… keep up the informative posts…

    • @Priya,
      Thanks for the comment.
They do not use any courier service, its just a normal mail.

I receive Contextweb check in Sri Lanka within 3 weeks of delivery, this is the normal timing for USA mails like adsense check.
You compare the time line with other USA mails to your place, if you think something is wrong, then you can contact them. I suggest to wait for 6 weeks.

Contact them via live chat and tel the issue, I’m sure they will help you out.

      • Hey Dinesh,

Thanks a lot for your prompt response. I guess I’ll just wait for a few more weeks. And perhaps, after that I could get on live chat with them.

  2. Thanks for your post. I’ve set up everything even before being approved (wish I signed up through your link, but I found your blog only after signing up when looking for more info on Contextweb). I don’t know why I was so afraid to use Adsense as backup, I guess I need to get used to Contextweb to feel safe. I have public ads from them now. However, their IRS forms are very confusing. I have nothing to do with US, do you have any advice on this? They are asking for things I have no idea about.

    Thanks!

  3. Why Contextweb aren’t sending my payments. It’s already 32$! What should i do? Can you please help me. Been waiting for my payment since last month.

  4. Hello Dinesh,

I tried Contextweb for a couple of weeks and loved it. Unfortunately they had technical problems somewhere last week or so for a few days. The ads were not displaying (including the backup ads!) and my site wouldn’t load. I removed Contextweb and now am hesitant to put them back. What’s your take on this? Did you hear any official explanation from them? Is this going to happen again?

    • @Elena,
This is the first time I faced their outage in last 1 1/2 years. I think they fixed the ad displaying issue quicker than fixing the dashboard issue. I have not seen any major issues with my blog (since contextweb tags are placed in sidebar), even Backup tags were loaded fine when their dashboard was down.

This is the message I got from them after fixing,

      Dear PulsePoint Publisher,
The PulsePoint Selling Desk portal is now available for log in. We had experienced a service outage on Friday (1/20/12) that required the portal to be placed in maintenance mode. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and your business.
At this time, all paid ad serving has been restored. However, if you experience any problems or have any questions, please contact us at customerservice@pulsepoint.com or call 1-888-427-5243.
      Best regards,
      The PulsePoint Publisher Team

Personally I feel you can try them again if you are happy with the earning and service. Sometimes we need to take these kind of risks to make money online.
      Good luck

      • Thanks, I will try again then. They didn’t send me an explanation of what happened. During the days they were down I’ve sent them an email but it returned back with delivery error. Backup ads were not displaying too. But I will try again, because I liked it when it worked. The visitors don’t leave your site and you are still getting paid. I think it’s a good option. Thanks

  5. Hi Dinesh,

First of all nice job with this blog.

I have just joined contextweb and i have placed the ads in my website (it gets around 220-270 Unique Visitors a day and about 1000-1200 pageviews a day), i have set the askprice to 0.08$ and 0.10$ and i am only getting these US public ads, why? i have placed the ad tags about 2 days ago.

    Can you please advise me?

    Thanks

  6. Hi Dinesh,

I am using Contextweb and i got $50 in last month (On February). But when i’ll get paid ? Did you know when Contextweb will pay me ?

By the way, I am not working or stay in US so i fill W-8 BEN Forms. And my payment is via PayPal, can you help me to get some solution ? Because i need my money.

    Thank You,

    Sherlegic

    • @Sherlogic,
Their payment cycle is 45 days. So, you will be receiving the Feb payment by April mid. Before that make sure you have filled up the correct tax form even though you do not live in US. You can ask their support (through live chat) about this.

They pay correctly, so I’m sure you will get your money.
      Good luck.
